Mother's Day 2013 ...

We had a beautiful day here in Eugene!  The kids even let me snap some pictures with them without a fuss ... they truly were thinking of me!  

More foliage...(I promise this is the last of it!)

 I have never been able to capture this plant.  Last year, they got hit by a late snow and did not really bloom well ... but this year they were great!

This is one of my favorite azaleas that we have.  I have done nothing to these pictures ... the color of the flower as well as the sky was really that color the day I took these pictures.  I will miss this azalea so much.  It is the one that the kids stand in front of for back to school pictures, and it is the one that it "floating" in the "island" of the backyard because we never got around to building our arbor again!  Oh well ...
